A good hearty breakfast gluten free
1 baked potato
4 oz. cooked ground turkey with sausage seasonings
1/2 cottage cheese
6 oz fruit on the side.
Usually when I have this breakfast, I am using left over baked potato and protein, so this is actually a quick meal. I just open the potato and put the sausage on top and heat it in the microwave. When it is heated I put the cottage cheese on top. The cottage cheese will be slightly heated by the heat of the potato. It will moisten the potato and make it so that you need very little butter.
