White bean Hummus - Food Plan Friendly

Ingredients:

  • 15.5 oz can white kidney beans
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2-1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • (optional) water to thin mixture
  • (optional) Orange Juice to taste - to thin mixture instead of water
  • (optional) fresh herbs (e.g. thyme, rosemary, basil, or chervil)
Directions:

  1. Drain the beans and add to a food processor.
  2. Add garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. 
  3. Pulse while adding oil (and water/orange juice) until it is smooth.
  4. Top with chopper herbs.
